My horoscope for today says, "Express your most tender feelings for your loved one today. Take the time to write your words down, so they'll always have them to cherish. When you write from the heart, the words will flow. " So here I am, putting my best foot forward in turning my emotions into writings.
'Twas in 2008 when we first met. We became friends and eventually fell in love. But love has its own time, its own season and sadly 'twas not our love's time yet. So we broke up and went our separate ways. Three years have passed and I must say that the last three years have held a lot of changes in our lives. But one thing remains- that special place we hold in each other's heart.
Late last year, we decided to forget the past and give our love a second chance. We were both hesitant then for we know that the road to a successful relationship is no smooth sailing- it's rough and bumpy. We know better 'coz we've been there! (hehehe) But somehow, we've realized that successful relationships don't just happen, they are made. So, we took on the challenge.
It's been 4 months since we made that big decision. And yes, it's no smooth sailing. We have our fair share of rough waters. We fight, we make each other mad, we get hurt but it doesn't mean that we don't love each other anymore nor it's already the end of our relationship. Nothing good comes without a price tag. I know that it's normal for us to experience these things. We are two different individuals who have divergent views and interests. But as long as we share this one common goal of making our relationship last, we can make it through.
You'd always tease me that you'll marry me after 10 years. If waiting for 10 years would mean spending the rest of my life with you, then I wouldn't mind waiting. Great things come to those who wait ayt?!? Patient kaya ako! hahaha (wink!) :)
