LOVE doesn't make the world go round. LOVE is what makes the ride worthwhile.
According to pareng Chapman, homo sapiens express their love in different ways. He even divided it into 5 emotional languages. So, it's important for us to know what is our love language and so as our partner's to avoid misunderstandings and dramas (nemen!expert lng?!?!). hahaha!
So here it is buntis! (kung makarhyme!hahaha) :)
Chapman's Five Emotional Love Languages:
1. Words of Affirmation
This is when you say how nice your spouse looks, or how great the dinner tasted. These words will also build your mate's self image and confidence.
2. Quality Time
Some spouses believe that being together, doing things together and focusing in on one another is the best way to show love. If this is your partner's love language, turn off the TV now and then and give one another some undivided attention.

3. Gifts
It is universal in human cultures to give gifts. They don't have to be expensive to send a powerful message of love. Spouses who forget a birthday or anniversary or who never give gifts to someone who truly enjoys gift giving will find themselves with a spouse who feels neglected and unloved.

4. Acts of Service
Discovering how you can best do something for your spouse will require time and creativity. These acts of service like vacuuming, hanging a bird feeder, planting a garden, etc., need to be done with joy in order to be perceived as a gift of love.

5. Physical Touch
Sometimes just stroking your spouse's back, holding hands, or a peck on the cheek will fulfill this need.

On a personal note, I am happy that mi amore can express his love in different ways - sa isip, sa salita at sa gawa. (naks!panatang makabyan lang?hahaha). Mi Amore is actually a man of few words. Pero kahit di siya ganun ka verbose eh he never fails to tell me how much he loves me. (blush!) He would always say THANK YOU for the very little things na ginagawa ko for him and would let me know gaano nya ito naappreciate. Sweet noh? ^_^ He would willingly give me a massage whenever he sees that I had a long and tiring day at work. (i miss this! :( He's willing to accpet all the "kantyaw" from his friends for not going with them just to spend time with me. He's not fond of surprises. He usually asks me what I want and buy it for me. I am happy and contented on how he shows his love for me. Hindi ito katulad ng mga napapanood ko sa teleserye, pero alam kong ito ay tunay at totoo (sing tamis ng wine, sing tatag ng sunshine.hahaha).
Mahal, thank you for always making me feel loved and special. Ang cute mo! hehehe. :)
IMISSYOU very mucho! :(
MAHAL KITA! :* :* :*
